Coaches Requirements

Coaches must complete all the mandatory requirements before interacting with participants in any practices, jamborees or TVYFL contests.  Volunteers need to attend classroom training & Outdoor training  Only. 

Coach Certification Requirements:

1. Background Check

2. Heads up Concussion Training

3. USA Football – Youth Tackle Certification
                                      O R 
4  USA Football - Youth  Flag Certification

5. First Aid & CPR/AED Certification: All coaches must be First Aid and CPR certified.  If you are a Medical Professional (doctors, nurses, EMTs, etc.) you may provide proof of professional certification in place of First Aid/CPR Certification.
 

SHYFL will cover the cost of each of these requirements.
