Coaches and staff must complete all the mandatory requirements before interacting with participants in any practices, jamborees or TVYFL contests. Each coach will be supported by St. Helens Head Football Coach & Youth Football Coach of coaches. This will include classroom training, online video materials and on field support.
Coach Certification Requirements:
1. Background Check
2. Heads up Concussion Training
3. USA Football – Tackle Football Level 1 Certification
5. First Aid & CPR/AED Certification: All coaches must be First Aid and CPR certified. If you are a Medical Professional (doctors, nurses, EMTs, etc.) you may provide proof of professional certification in place of First Aid/CPR Certification.
6. Attend Class room training, dates: July 16th, 27th & 30th
Time 5:30, July 16 & 30 at Sacagawea Health Center. Time 6:00, July 27th High School North End zone.
8. TVYFL Coaches Virtual meeting August 6th, Senior tackle 9-10:30 Rookie 11-12. Link will be emailed.
